In this day and age, it's hard to be in the now. There's so many things to worry about, it's hard to stop.
Here's something you can do to clear your mind and help with the worries. It's a great way to help you refocus.
* Find a place where you won't be disturbed. A quiet place, anywhere. You can even go into the bathroom if it's the only place you can get some quit time.
* Close your eye and breath. Push all of the thoughts out of you head. Don't think about anything, just sit and breath.
* Spend 15 minutes just being in the now. Feel your body loosen up, relax.
Do this whenever you feel overwhelmed and pulled in too many directions. For some, it takes a bit of practice, it's sometimes to just stop thinking.
